Comedic actress Georgia Engel, a five-time Emmy nominee from her years on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Everybody Loves Raymond, has died at the age of 70.

Engel's friend, John Quilty, told The New York Times the cause was undetermined because her Christian Scientist faith kept her from seeing a doctor. Cast as bubbly Georgette, her part kept expanding as audiences delighted in her sweet delivery in contrast to her TV husband Ted Knight's comedic bluster as narcissistic anchorman Ted Baxter. She starred in an off-Broadway production of Uncle Vanya in 2012.

In black-and-white home surveillance footage, a man is seen carrying a large cardboard box on the victim's front porch. The would-be assassin struck on November 7, 2018, but police are only just now releasing the video of the suspect.

She recalled that a possible Everybody Loves Raymond spinoff set to include her and Fred Willard never come to fruition, which she called a great disappointment.

"It was only going to be one episode, and I was just supposed to have a few lines in a party scene, but they kept giving me more and more to do", she explained.

In 2018, the Chargers wore their navy blue uniforms for eight games (including pre-season), and their powder blues twice. On Tuesday, the Chargers announced that they've made two major changes to their primary home uniform.

Georgia's Broadway roles included Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone; Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly! with Ethel Merman, The Boys From Syracuse, and My One and Only with Tommy Tune. She went on to join her Mary Tyler Moore Show co-star Betty White on White's self-titled CBS sitcom, and play a memorable role as Howard's wife Shirley on the ABC comedy Coach. "That's not a character voice - that's our girl", a smiling White said in a 2012 interview with Engel, calling her a "pure gold" friend and colleague.
