Aranda was charged with attempted premeditated first-degree murder for the heinous crime and is slated to make his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
The man who has admitted to harming the boy is 24-year-old Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda, who said he had been looking for someone to kill.
"That a child, with his mother, at a safe public area like a mall, could be violently attacked for no reason is chilling for everyone".
The boy suffered life-threatening injuries from the incident, including multiple fractured bones in his arms and legs, massive head trauma and bleeding from his head, prosecutors said.
"The family appreciates the outpouring of support from across the country, reassuring them of the goodness in humanity, the overall goodness of humanity and God's will", said Stephen Tillitt, attorney for the boy's family.
Turkey says buying Russian defense system should not trigger US sanctions
Turkey may temporarily store Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems in Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to Turkish media. "This issue has been already resolved by Turkey ", said Erdogan.
The condition of Landen, whose last name was not disclosed, showed "very little change at this point, but we are hoping to get some good news back from some upcoming tests in the next few days", Hanneman continued.
Then, the complaint alleges, Aranda "without warning" picked up the boy and threw him over the railing to the first floor, which Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts earlier estimated to be about 40 feet.
"The family can not express how grateful they are for all of the prayers, love and support that they are receiving".
The child's mother reportedly told authorities that she and her son had been with a friend and her child on the mall's third floor outside the Rain Forest Cafe when a male she had never seen before approached them.
He returned Friday and picked the boy instead, U.S. media reported.
Trump Has a GOP Challenger
While Trump's overall approval ratings have been poor for much of his presidency, he remains popular with Republican voters. The 73-year-old described himself to Jake Tapper as a Republican "who works across the aisle and gets things done".
"Please respect their great need and desire for privacy during that journey and do not attempt to contact them for additional information or interviews".
That man - later identified as Aranda - is alleged to have come so close to them that the child's mother asked if they were in his way and should move.
In 2015, Aranda was arrested at the mall after he threw a glass of water and glass of tea at a woman who refused to give him money.
Aranda told law enforcement he knew his intentions were wrong but was exhausted of being rejected by women he tried to pick up at the mall. Aranda said that made him lash out. According to the criminal complaint, Aranda told officers that "he has some anger issues", and that, "it does not happen all the time".
