Joan Collins is being treated for breathing difficulties after a "terrifying" fire tore through her London home yesterday.
A spokesperson for Collins addressed the frightening incident in a statement to ET and confirmed that the actress and her husband are "doing fine" the day after the fire. "They both escaped safely, very shaken and upset and firemen eventually put fire out". Joan smelt [sic] some smoke and Percy went out to investigate.

"Percy had two of those fire extinguishers in the apartment so he rushed in to start putting the fire out and Joan called for the fire brigade to come", the rep continued.
The rep said that by the time authorities arrived, Percy had been able to get the fire mostly under control. "They escaped the fire unhurt, but obviously shaken up and distressed from the whole thing", Collins' rep added. The short video showed taped-up windows and the extensively charred interior of the apartment.
It took about 10 firefighters around an hour to bring the conflagration under control, the BBC reported.
