Wednesday's launch was the second for Falcon Heavy following its successful maiden flight on February 6, 2018 when its payload was the personal red-colored Tesla Roadster of Elon Musk. In 2018, the two side boosters landed safely at Cape Canaveral Air Force base. The boosters will be refueled and reused.

Last night, around 11.51pm United Kingdom time, SpaceX founder Elon Musk, 47, confirmed the two side boosters landed at Cape Canaveral. A forecast of the upper-level wind - which scrubbed yesterday's delay - isn't included in the forecast, but meteorologists track the winds ahead of the launch attempt. Last year's test flight put a sports car-Musk's own Tesla convertible-into space.

The next SpaceX mission from Florida, CRS-17, was recently announced for 5:55 a.m. April 26.

Thursday's launch brought crowds of spectators to the Titusville and Cocoa Beach areas, many of whom had waited to see liftoff on previous days, only to be disappointed. Before the rocket finally launched more than two years later, Musk suggested to several news outlets, including CNN, that the rocket could explode. The red Roaster - with a mannequin, dubbed Starman, likely still at the wheel - remains in a solar orbit stretching just past Mars.

SpaceX designed the Falcon line with reusability in mind, and this makes them more affordable in comparison to the competition.
