Jaguar Land Rover recalls 44000 cars over carbon dioxide levels

More than 44,000 cars built by Jaguar Land Rover are being recalled after irregularities were found over the amount of Carbon dioxide they emit.

If you own one of the vehicles above and are not sure whether your auto is affected by this recall, contact your local Jaguar or Land Rover dealership.

The recall will affect versions of the Land Rover Discovery, Discovery Sport, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque manufactured between 2016 and 2019. Petrol and some diesel models will be part of the recall. Some vehicles will need physical changes to be made, while others will only need a software update.

What bugs Windows 10 users the most, however, is having no ability to pause Windows 10 updates. With that being the case, the new 35 day installation delay looks likely to stay in place.

Despite JLR's very latest cars delivering exceptional real world emissions, it seems an terrible lot of the cars Jaguar and Land Rover has produced since 2016 - 44,535 of them - emit levels of Carbon dioxide which don't meet certified levels.
