One Of The Parkland Survivors Has Shouted Out This Friday's School Strike For Climate Action

When Sacred Heart student and fellow organiser Sarah Fraser first heard of the global student-led movement, she knew taking action in New Zealand was something she wanted to do.

"We applaud the students who are standing up for climate action and organising and attending the rallies being held around New Zealand - and the world - this Friday (15 March)", says Susannah Bailey, PSA Eco Network organiser. It was a real shock to see the impacts of climate change first-hand and made me realise how important it is to protect our environment.

Although there is not an organized strike at BHS, the environmental club, Leader in Environmental Awareness and Protection (LEAP), will have a petition for Vermont legislature encouraging them to have stronger policies on climate change.
