Donald Trump Declared "Very Healthy" By Doctor, But Is Officially Obese

Trump is in 'very good health' but now obese by BMI standards

Trump in 'very good health overall,' according to annual physical results

President Trump remains in "good health" and has not had any major changes to his health status in the past year, according to a memorandum signed by his doctor and released Thursday by the White House.

Now, the President weighs 243 pounds, an increase of 4 pounds, according to the physical examination results.

President Trump returns to the White House after undergoing his annual physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on February 8.

Body mass index is based on height and weight, and a BMI of 30 or greater is considered obese, according to the National Institutes of Health. His cholesterol levels showed a total cholesterol of 196 - HDL of 58, and LDL of 122.

NBA Hits Bucks Owner Marc Lasry With Tampering Fine
He is under contract next season, but has already told the team he won't sign an extension with them. That was enough to breach league tampering rules, as Lasry was hit with a $25,000 fine.

The physical results offered more limited information than last year's, but note that the President increased his daily dose of rosuvastatin, a medication used to treat high cholesterol. The president's weight was reported as 239 pounds a year ago, and he was advised to watch his diet, exercise more and lose weight.

President Trump, who has a common form of heart disease, had previously been asked to lose at least 10lb.

Aides say he now eats more fish than he used to but still enjoys steaks, well done with ketchup on the side, and fried potatoes prepared by the chefs at the White House and at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

Trump's physical took place over four hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Trump also has long had a well-documented fondness for fast food - last month he posed cheerfully with what he called "1,000 hamberders" on Twitter, that were served to the Clemson Tigers college football team at the White House.

After reluctantly climbing out of the auto , the Dutch youngster's first impressions of the RB15 were positive. For sure there will be moments where as a team we'll make mistakes or it's maybe not going as we want it to.

Jackson also recommended previous year that the president increase the dosage of his anti-cholesterol medicine.

Trump received routine vaccinations for shingles and pneumonia.

Jackson returned to the White House Medical Unit, but was replaced by Conley as the President's main physician.
