Trump Says He Didn’t Know Manafort Gave Polling Data To Russian Associate

Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigators met a year ago with a pollster who worked on Donald Trump 's 2016 presidential campaign and is a former associate of Trump's ex-campaign chief Paul Manafort, according to a new report.

The reveal was accidental: The court filing was unsealed in response to charges from the special counsel's office that Manafort lied to investigators during his investigation of the 2016 presidential election, but within it was an indication that Manafort shared 2016 polling data and discussed a peace plan for Ukraine with Konstantin V. Kilimnik, his business associate and intermediary with the Kremlin.

Asked if he thought special counsel Robert Mueller's final report should be made public, Trump said: "We'll have to see".

The driver then lost control and slid into the westbound lane, striking a white passenger auto and a light pole near 675 Layton Parkway, Lyman said.

The revelation Manafort, who is now being held in an Alexandria, Virginia, jail, shared the data emerged via a paperwork snafu in a Washington, D.C. court this week.

Manafort's defense team was responding to Mueller's accusations that he lied to the special counsel's investigators about his contacts with Russians during the campaign after pleading guilty previous year.

Jackie Speier, a Democratic member of the House Intelligence Committee, said the revelations raised new questions about possible "collusion" between Trump's election team and Russian Federation.

Manafort spokesman Jason Maloni told the network the money was for work that occurred before the Trump campaign, and it was not in exchange for presidential campaign polling data. Manafort's lawyers said any incorrect statements by him were unintentional.

An "unnamed source familiar with the situation" told CNN Fabrizio wasn't aware of with whom Manafort or his deputy Rick Gates had shared polling data.

Mueller's team has also charged Kilimnik with conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of justice.

Snowy Weekend On The Way, 2-4 Inches Expected
At this point, it appears snow will arrive Saturday afternoon with most of the snow falling before 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. The snow and snow/sleet mix (to the south and southwest) is going to move in earlier than previously anticipated.

Trump has long denied any wrongdoing during the campaign and has labeled Mueller's probe a "phony witch hunt".
