The contest asks students across the U.S.to make a work of art based around this year's theme: "When I grow up, I hope". Sarah Gomez-Lane from Falls Church, was announced as the victor of the Doodle for Google competition for 2018.

For the first time in Doodle for Google's 10-year history, the victor got to collaborate with the Doodle team to transform their artwork into an animated, interactive experience; the T-Rex can be seen playing a trumpet, while the Diplodocus responds to a click by extending its long neck to graze from a bush that appears magically below. She and other finalists visited Google for the day and got to meet with the company's designers.

"When they called my name, I was surprised", Sarah said in the video. Sarah Gomez-Lane's dinosaur doodle won her a $30,000 college scholarship.

After it was announced that Gomez-Lane was the victor, the company's "Doodle team" worked with her to transform her drawing into an animated, interactive Google Doodle.

Jameela Jamil Wore Jeans Under Her Dress At The Golden Globes
News are throwing out some deep-cut references to The Good Place or they just earned themselves a spot in The Bad Place. She added in a chat with USA Today: "I don't believe in suffering for fashion".

Google is now accepting submissions for Doodle for Google 2019.

Winners of every grade level were invited to Google's headquarters to interact with the company's professional doodlers.

The victor will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, and their school or non-profit organization will receive a $50,000 technology package.

"We fell in love with Sarah's rendering of her dinos, and were blown away by her big (you might even say "dino-sized"!) ambitions for her future, especially at her young age", said Google.

Chrissy Metz Denies Making Alison Brie Slur on Globes Red Carpet
Gibson later backed up Metz by revealing that he thought she said Alison is "such a babe". Talking with PEOPLE during the ceremony, Metz denied that she had called Brie a "bitch".

The latest Google Doodle comes from a second-grader.

After the contest closes on March 18, one victor will be chosen from each of the 50 states plus Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and Guam, and one national finalist from five grade categories.

This year's entries will be judged by Jimmy Fallon, Kermit the Frog (or more likely Matt Vogel who voices Kermit), and 2018's National Teacher of the Year, Mandy Manning.

Samir Nasri pleased with winning West Ham debut
He has signed his contract and now he has to demonstrate it on the pitch. "That part of his life, for Nasri it has passed". Nasri was banned for a breach of anti-doping rules when, as a Sevilla player, he used drip treatment in 2016.
