Some diversity activists have argued that disabled, LGBT and ethnic minority characters should only be portrayed by performers from those groups, but Cranston said it was the job of actors to "be other people". This week, I watched Silent Witness with Liz Carr, a disabled actor who, for seven years, has played disabled lab technician Clarissa Mullery.

He added: "We live in the world of criticism, if we're willing to get up and try something, we have to also be willing to take criticism. I think it is worthy for debate to discuss those issues", he ended.

Bryan Cranston defended playing a man with disabilities in the new movie "The Upside". "We're very aware of the need to expand the opportunities for people with disabilities", he told the Press Association.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 isn't coming to Steam
It's a major coup for Epic's store, by far the biggest game to make the move to the platform since its launch late a year ago . Valve needs to do something to win developers back, or else Epic is going to be a major threat to Steam's long-term viability.

A Vice writer said Cranston "prevented a lesser-known disabled actor from getting the opportunity to play the role and gain celebrity".

The movie, which is a remake of a 2011 French film called "Les Intouchables", stars Cranston as a wealthy man paralyzed from the neck down, and Kevin Hart as an ex-convict hired to care for Cranston's character around the clock, but who eventually teaches Cranston's character to enjoy life, despite his hardships (at least, that's the plot of the original movie).

The Upside, also featuring Nicole Kidman, Julianna Margulies and Aja Naomi King, arrives in theaters Friday. Like, you couldn't find one?
