Delhi Daredevils, part of the Indian Premier League since the opening edition in 2008, has been renamed as Delhi Capitals, the franchise announced on Tuesday (December 4).

It's learnt that all the major decisions regarding the team are now being taken by Parth Jindal, the director at JSW Sports. Besides the name change, the owners have also unveiled a new logo. They have also changed the tagline of the side which now reads, "This is New Delhi". Pravin Amre would be in-charge of talent scouting.
