With 4GB still so common in flagship devices, it feels that if OnePlus was to speed ahead with 10GB in the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, it may not make a noticeable difference on-screen.

Technically, the fruit of this high-profile collaboration between OnePlus and sports vehicle manufacturer McLaren will be revealed and fully detailed at a special British event on December 11, but there will be no prizes offered for guessing what's coming. The news follows a teaser from OnePlus, which suggested the company would launch another new handset on December 11. As the name suggests, the limited-edition phone will be produced in partnership with McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing. The high-end variant of OnePlus 6T with 256GB storage is priced at Rs 45,999.

In a report published today, Mysmartprice claims that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will ship with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

As November draws to a close, OnePlus may be planning to launch one more OnePlus 6T version with some supercharged specs to boost performance. With that in mind, we're expecting the main selling point of this handset to be its design. While the special OnePlus 6T model would naturally come with McLaren-themed wallpapers and software customisations, but there's more in store for fans. Instead of 8GB, the Mclaren phone will rock 10GB of RAM, MySmartPrice has learned. OnePlus phones with 8GB of RAM are already much faster than many of their counterparts, so the extra 2GB of memory should make them even speedier. We confidently predict it will be more expensive than the £579 top-of-the-line OnePlus 6T, but cheaper than a McLaren Senna. OnePlus is known to bring out special editions of its smartphones associated with big brands.
