How Dez Bryant compares to other free agents at Saints workout

He meant to sign a one-year contract this season, then work on a longer-term deal starting next season, the reports said.

The Saints win over previously unbeaten LA has solidified them as a threat to make the Super Bowl. When Bryant worked out with the Browns, he briefly negotiated with the team but never came to terms. With Cameron Meredith still in Sean Payton's doghouse for a Week 5 fumble and Austin Carr struggling to catch when thrown to, there's plenty of opportunity for someone like Bryant to step in and produce. And perhaps he can.

Bryant, who turned 30 on Sunday, has been a free agent since he was released by Dallas in April.

Steelers Antonio Brown pulled over for going 100 miles per hour
According to police, Brown was heading south when he was pulled over between Babcock Boulevard and the Parkway. Oddly enough, it appears Brown was actually pulled over because there was a bank robbery in the area.

It'll be interesting to see if the Saints ultimately made a decision to bring in one of these two veterans as they gear up for the playoffs.

So with the job up for grabs, the Saints will work out a number of receivers this week.

The Baltimore Ravens offered Bryant a multi-year deal, but he reportedly wants a one-year, "prove-it" deal.

Terry Rozier refutes report he is unhappy with Celtics
Celtics point guard Terry Rozier enjoyed a breakout in 2017-18 in the wake of Kyrie Irving's season-ending injury. The Suns will get a good look at Rozier Thursday night, as the two teams are set to face off in Phoenix.

Michael Thomas is one of the best wideouts in the league and rookie Tre'Quan Smith is emerging as a reliable target, while running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Benjamin Watson have also thrived in this aerial attack.

The Saints were in the market for help at receiver after placing Ted Ginn Jr on injured reserve on October 18.

So, while Dez Bryant isn't what he used to be, he may be just enough for the Saints-as long as they understand what they're getting, and what they're not.
