This news only leaked due to the New Mexico Film Office putting out the project's title and logline and the Journal figuring out the rest.

According to a report in Variety, the show's creator Vince Gilligan is working on a new film that ties in with the much-loved show.

No further information was given for the production, and it is now unclear if it will be a prequel or will even include the characters or same actors from the television show.

Obviously, Aaron Paul's returning for the project, though there's now no word as to which other Breaking Bad cast members might appear.

The New Mexico film industry and Sony Pictures Television have worked together on both "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul".
