Due to its vast popularity, Fortnite has a player-base that spans across numerous age groups, including many young kids who enjoy playing the animated battle royale. The game is especially popular among kids. While no one likes losing, there should be a line between getting upset over a loss and threating to hurt someone over it. Fortnite has found itself in the mainstream news for a variety of reasons this past year, most recently for being cited as a reason for couples splitting up in over 200 divorce cases in the UK.

He has since been charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and acting in a manner to injure a child.

Michael Aliperti from Long Island, New York, is the man who got arrested.
