"Our main focus this afternoon was getting everyone out safely", said Thanh Nguyen, a spokesman for the crews battling the Holy Fire.

When asked if he knew how the fire started, Clark said he had no idea. "I thought, 'There's no way they're saving my house.' But somehow they did".

In their Saturday morning update, California National Forest stated that Holy Fire had grown to a staggering 21,473 acres and was 29 percent contained.

Officials say that fire is only 5% contained as temperatures continue to stay above 90F (32C).

To the west and east, the Ranch Fire fire is settling down behind containment lines. "We continue to actively engage, but can not get ahead of the fire", it said.

Clark's arrest marks the second such detention in two weeks. "I've been up for like 20-some-odd days", Clark said. Milligan called back and though the reception was poor in the canyon, he recognized Clark's voice, he said.

Before his arrest, Clark told a reporter he had nothing to with the fire.

Residents living in the communities of Phelan/Pinon Hills are reporting heavy ash falling along with a strong smell of smoke that has blanketed the area prompting 911 to receive multiple reports of an alleged fire nearby. Meteor shower of the year coming up
However, it's important to set an alarm clock, because the meteor shower occurs while most people are sleeping. If you happen to have trouble sleeping on Sunday night (August 12), that's a ideal time to step outside.
