Ruby Rose Makes History After Being Cast As Batwoman, The First Lesbian TV Superhero

Actress Ruby Rose appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to discuss her new role as Batwoman on the CW, with Rose explaining it's part she's waited for her whole life.

"I was so nervous doing the red carpet that I basically skipped everybody because I was anxious, I kept spontaneously crying, I feel like I'm probably gonna do it now", she explained, before tearing up. The first, an Oscar Wilde quote, is "Be yourself, because everyone else is taken".

The now-traditional four-show crossover is set to air this December.
