Fulham are trying to sign Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan for the upcoming Premier League season.

The 24-year-old Argentine forward temporarily moves to Craven Cottage with opportunities limited under Diego Simeone.

Fosu-Mensah will spend a second consecutive season with the London club.

Three Dolphins players protest during national anthem before exhibition game
Earlier this year, the league said it would require players to stand for the national anthem or remain in the locker room. Some players held their fists in the air, while others chose to kneel, despite the controversy surrounding the action.

Fosu-Mensah has featured prominently in pre-season for the Red Devils, who face Leicester in their opening game of the season on Friday, live on Sky Sports Main Event.

"Fulham has a lot of good players, and it's good for my development to be here".

Fosu-Mensah graduated from the youth set up at United and he made his senior debut at left back in a 3-2 home win against Arsenal in February 2016.

A Premier League club has officially announced the signing of two FC Barcelona stars. "I'm happy to be here and I want to keep progressing".

The Dutchman was on loan at Crystal Palace last season, but there had been suggestions that he would act as cover and competition at Old Trafford - particularly with injury doubts over right-back Antonio Valencia.

Vietto's addition continues a busy summer for Fulham, with the likes of Jean-Michael Seri, Andre Schurrle, Alfie Mawson, Fabri and Aleksandar Mitrovic all arriving.
