A mother from Corpus Christi is accused of doing the unthinkable selling her children.
Esmeralda Garza, 29, was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officials on Friday after she allegedly sold her 7-year-old boy to two men, KRIS-TV reported. Further investigation revealed two more female children, ages 2 and 3, who were in the process of being sold.
After her arrest, officers transported Garza to the Nueces County Jail where she was booked with bond set at $100,000. Jail records did not list a lawyer for her.

Authorities said DPS special agents executed a drug search warrant at a residence in Corpus Christi on Friday, June 29, and found a seven-year-old male child who was allegedly sold and purchased.
It is unclear how much she was paid for the children, or why she was selling them.
Two other people with Garza were arrested on drug-related charges.
