What do you think of the Oppo Find X's design? Witness: mechanized pop-up camera sliders, as recently showcased by the Vivo NEX and now the Oppo Find X. The Chinese company which has been manufacturing phones since 2008 had teased a smartphone with all-screen panel and indeed it kept its promise with Oppo Find X which sports 93.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The Find X has a slightly smaller (but still huge) 6.4-inch, curved OLED display, also with a Full HD resolution, giving you a slightly sharper 403ppi pixel density. The most obvious difference between the cousins is the smooth glass back on the Find-X compared to the texture on the reverse side of the Nex. The most prominent of these will be durability. That, though, does have to be balanced against the fact that it's probably going to be tricky to find a case that fits the Find X but also allows the cameras to pop up when required.
Oppo says that it takes just half a second to open and has been tested to last more than 300,000 times - potentially giving "five years" of use.

The notch design trend made popular by the iPhone X may soon be replaced by a new smartphone trend that seems to shrink bezel size more. However, the glass body also makes the device fingerprint and smudge magnet. There is no fingerprint sensor in front or at the back, and none under the screen (which we were hoping to find). And how will third-party manufacturers handle cases for the phone? Due to the ejecting camera module, no conventional smartphone case will work with the device.
The Oppo Find X (announced Tuesday) has a screen that stretches from the very top of the phone, wraps around the sides and goes nearly to the very bottom (the phone has a thin bottom bezel, aka a "chin"). But we'll see how it goes whenever the Find X launches! But that wasn't the only surprise the company had at its launch event in Paris. OPPO says the Find X Automobili Lamorghini Edition will cost €1,699, though no dates have been given for launch. There's also better protection for the cameras themselves what with having them covered by the body of the phone when not in use, the company argues.
