Square Enix has announced a new game called The Quiet Man, and released its announcement trailer.
What are you hoping to see at the Square Enix E3 Showcase? As you're flying around causing mayhem as Rico, you'll also encounter tornadoes, blizzards, lightning storms, and more, setting up some blockbuster risk/reward gameplay opportunities. The title is Babylon's Fall, and you can see a brief teaser below.

The industry is headed in an exciting direction, and we see an opportunity to create awesome new game experiences of the future. The service, a sort of Netflix for games, lets players pay a $9.99 monthly fee to play more than 100 games.
The Quiet Man is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC. Square are promising "more to come" in August which suggests we'll have to keep guessing until then. From the debut trailer, it seems like cutscenes will be in live-action, but the gameplay will look like a standard game. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link. It's all looking very Just Cause, basically. Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter: World are joining up to make two groups of nerds incredibly happy.
