On Saturday, Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella made a surprise announcement at Electronic Arts' EA Play press conference at E3 that the game is no longer shrouded in mystery, but rather it has a release date, a title, and a definitive time period.
The game has been in production for a good few years but EA are not ready to show anything of the game, and you've got bit of wait before it hit's the shelves and as it won't be out until Christmas 2019. The game will apparently be super serious as it takes place during a really "dark time" in the history of the Jedi Order.
Sea of Solitude E3 Trailer Released
Given what unfolds in the first teaser trailer below, this seems to be a fair assessment of Sea of Solitude . The game follows the journey of Kay, who suffers from depression and anger as a result of her loneliness.
Zampella revealed that you will play a Jedi and, yes, you will be able to wield the series' signature lightsaber weapon.
"We promise to pay respect to the Star Wars legacy at all times", game director Stig Asmussen previously said.
For those of you unfamiliar with Respawn, the rights were acquired by EA for a cool $465 previous year. Well, EA has the license for it and in the past, Respawn has announced that one of the games its working on is in the Star Wars universe. The game is expected to launch during the Holiday 2019 season.
