Prince sold more than 100 million records during his career, with his music spanning rock, funk and jazz. Prince released fleshed-out versions of "Purple Rain" and "17 Days" the following year, with "17 Days" acting as the b-side to "When Doves Cry".
George Ian Boxill worked with Prince on five tracks in 2006, and he made at least one song from the recording sessions, "Deliverance", which was made available for online sales.
