New Hitman Announcement Teased for This Week

Hitman 2 would be the tenth Hitman game released for the franchise, which was created by IO Interactive and originally published by Eidos and Square Enix.

Something cool is about to happen in the world of Hitman, and IO Interactive is in full tease mode about it.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment appears to have leaked information on the next Hitman instalment. One tweet stated the reveal would be about something new regarding Hitman, with the other confirming that the announcement, whatever it was, would be made at 6pm United Kingdom on Thursday 7th June.

While the incriminating Hitman 2 logo has since been removed, but of course, someone was quick to take a screengrab before it disappeared. Personally I hope it does; it was an innovative way to present a game that encouraged several playthroughs of the same level while waiting for the next, immersing fans in the game and keeping them invested for months rather than weeks.
